Committee for Industrial Safety

The Committee for Industrial Safety was created by Contra Costa County’s
four refineries — Chevron, Phillips 66, Shell and Marathon.

Our mission is to enhance the safety of our workers, our neighbors
and the environment ... to increase public understanding of our 
operations and the value we bring to the community ... and to work 
with our local elected officials in support of policies that promote
safety, protect jobs and allow us to continue being an important
part of the local economy.
